Books for Vets Foundation is a patriotic initiative dedicated to enriching the lives of our esteemed veterans through the gift of literature and media. We gratefully receive books, multimedia, and financial contributions from generous individuals and organizations, leveraging these resources to profoundly benefit veterans throughout Las Vegas, NV.
Our mission is to establish a cutting-edge media production studio exclusively for Las Vegas veterans and their supporters. Additionally, we empower veteran entrepreneurs by providing business grants and connecting them with essential resources for successful ventures.
About Us:
We champion local veteran entrepreneurs through grants and contribute to esteemed veteran charities in Las Vegas and Henderson. Moreover, we maintain strong partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure veterans receive the effective support they deserve.
How It Works:
Book Donations: We collect books generously donated by the public.
Processing: Partnering with a local bookseller, we sort and sell a portion of the donated books, with 10% of their quarterly profits contributed back to our cause.
Public Sales: The remaining books are sold to resellers and the public at monthly warehouse sales.
Recycling: Any unsold books are recycled responsibly to minimize waste and environmental impact.
Fund Allocation:
20% for Operational Expenses 40% for Business Grants to Veterans 10% for Grants to Local Veteran Charities in Las Vegas and Henderson 30% for Savings to Establish a Media Production Studio for Veterans
